  We stayed at 8013 Sand Bar Drive for 4 nights. The place was clean and all the pictures were accurate. Came with plenty of dishes and cups both regular and plastic to use out on the patio and plenty of cookware. It is super close to the pool and the main hotel so it was a short walk over to the pool and amenities at the hotel. We also walked over there to catch the shuttle to Sunset walk but took the shuttle directly back to our villa. Had a minor maintenance issue that they came out with in 30 minutes to fix. The room also came with its own Jacuzzi which was much more convenient to use at night. Highly recommend this villa

  Not really knowing anything about the property or the resort other than what we saw in a last minute, late night internet vacation planning session...I think we picked a really great spot. Sand Bar Drive is steps from the resort pool entrance but still felt quiet and pretty private. Would definitely recommend to others looking for a fun family place to stay.

  Our stay was very nice. Great location to Disney World. A couple of things could have been better. The bath and hand towels were very cheap and thin. I could barely wrap one around me. The other thing that could have been better was the floors were not clean enough. When I was barefoot in the house my feet were flithy, so I wore my shoes in the house. The kitchen was fully stocked and clean. Community pool was great. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

  We rented a charming 4 bed/3 bath villa in February. Pool looked great, although weather didn’t cooperate. My adult daughters enjoyed the hot tub. My only nit picks were inadequate toilet paper supplied and no coffee filters.

We stock each home with a "starter supply" of essential items. It is not designed to be an unlimited supply but, rather, to get a typical reservation through a weekend or get folks started so that they can enjoy their arrival days, take inventory, and pick up whatever else is needed to get them through their trip. Before each stay, we stock dish soap, laundry detergent, a roll of paper towels, toilet paper, a dish brush to wash dishes, a few trash bags, dishwasher detergent, bar soap, and the standard bathroom amenities you might find in a hotel. By the way, You were excellent guests, and we look forward to seeing you next time!

  Positives: The bedding is fabulous. HVAC worked great with no problems. Very clean. Location was great...very close walk to resort. Check-in/out experience was great. Felt very safe. Resort has many and highly visible security patrols (carts and cars).
  Areas for improvement: Value for the money. Small details - loose knobs, shower faucet handles ready to break, bathrooms have limited towel racks (nothing on back of doors, towels piled up on floor), showers have only a small soap dish, this margarita mixer/blender thing they highly market was broken and they had no spare parts or extra to provide (we went all week without the use of it, however they did credit us $100), no tables under the bedroom TVs to place the cable boxes. They are tucked behind the TVs against the wall so remote cannot operate them. Staff hesitant to provide us extra towels, but did. Took several hours as they use a third party for towels. Need more staff at the pools. Had to wait too long for drinks, food, etc.
  Overall, for the price paid, I was expecting a higher level of service/luxury resort. However, we had a positive experience.

  We really enjoyed the Margaritaville Resort and amentites. The cottage experience however was not what we expected. We called vstays upon arrival to report the outdoor furniture that was displayed in this specific cottage details was missing. Our family enjoys to be outdoors and with no outdoor chairs or table we were unable to have that experience. The vstays rep told us that it was the owner's responsibility to have those chairs there and we were pretty much out of luck. That is not the kind of hospitality we were expecting. No one came to investigate as stated in phone conversation and we were left all week without them as ALL surrounding cottages had full sets of furniture and no guests for the entire duration of our week long stay.

  It comes down to details. Generally happy with the stay, however it was a few small things that were an issue. There were 6 of us (5 women) and 8 towels. That is generally not a problem, unless thats it for the whole week. We called the office and they said there is nothing they were willing due and daily maintenance was cancelled due to covid, we need to wash the towels. OK, thats fine it is a vacation rental, issue then becomes that there is only enough detergent for one load. The girls were not happy about reusing washcloths multiple times. Similar issue with toilet paper. Not enough on site for the entire week for the number of people and ended up having to buy our own. Coffee maker did not work properly and lid on pot was broken off. We had a very late check in the first noght and went to the lobby to ask for some coffee for in the morning and the hote uses Keurig’s while the cottages do not, so no in room coffee.
  I guess since it was attached to the Margaritaville resort we had a different expectation than what was provided and services available.
  This seems paltry but these were easily rectifiable and unnecessary hiccups to our vacation.
  Perhaps stock the room accordingly for the number of people and the length of stay.
