  My house not user friendly for older parents downstairs the closet was locked and they had to go upstairs to hang clothes. No place to put luggage had to lay on floor opened could use a luggage rack at least. The towels only one per person so had to wash daily, therefore taken up vaca towels in kitchen to dry least add towel hooks in bathrooms for drying reservation was for a house with pool said owner died and they took off market only gave $150 rebate for six days the whole plan was to have a pool FOR KIDS i think they should have discounted more never used the spa.

  I paid an extra $1800 on top of booking price of package deal to get 3 bedroom cottage with a pool and jacuzzi. Upon arrival we didn't receive the cottage that was listed with the pool and jacuzzi that we paid an extra $1800 for my Mother's 60th birthday celebration. Expedia and Margaritaville both said there wasn't nothing they could do about it. They said they had no cottages left with a pool.They blaimed each other. Expedia said they only sale the property that Margaritaville lists and they can't help if there are errors in room details or pictures. Margaritaville said expedia didn't specify it was a cottage that included a pool and jacuzzi. It is crazy that they list all the different cottages and prices and what they include when you are booking so I don't understand how neither one of them think they are responsible and play the blaim game. Maybe they do this on purpose to make extra money. After days and hours of fighting with them both over the phone and speaking to multiple people from expedia and Margaritaville. We couldn't just leave and stay somewhere else because the room was nonrefundable and I would of lost more money and had no where to stay over a 4th of July week. Expedia agreed to refund $250 and Margaritaville agreed to refund $200 so we were still out of money. Would not recommend booking with expedia or staying at Margaritaville Cottages.

  Great location and condition. We loved they had shuttles to take us to the hotel lobby, Sunwalk (restaurants close by), and Disney parks. The place was clean and we loved that there was a bathroom for each room. The things that could improve were: 1- Offer more toilet paper (there was only a small and cheap brand roll per bathroom). 2-Only one small bar of soap per bathroom. 3- Small and thin towels. 4- Air conditioner was not working properly. It got hot at night. 5-Kitchen: Needs thicker paper towels, dirty spatula, no Salt and pepper. Overall we loved our stay and would go back. again.

  What we liked, the fact that we aren’t attached to any neighbors, the townhome is spacious, water pressure in showers was awesome. What we did not like, beds are like bricks, house is hot and humid. Also we have stayed in condos a lot, this is the first time we didn’t have extra trash bags, didn’t have things as simple as salt and pepper, coffee for the pot. We didn’t have cable the whole week we were there. We won’t stay again I have stayed in cheaper places with so much more comfort.

  The cottage was decorated so cute. The beds were very comfortable. The stairs are very steep. Our Margarita mixer was missing the blender but we weren’t using it anyway. The layout is kind of odd. You have to go through the downstairs bedroom to get to the patio and hot tub. The hot tub works great but plan to give it time to heat up. The downstairs bedroom has no where to store clothes. The closet is locked (owners closet) and there is not a dresser. I would recommend more towels in the bathrooms.

  This was our 4th or 5th house we have rented from vstays. This is our first time returning since the start of the pandemic. We really enjoy staying at this resort and the area. We had many issues during this stay with our cottage. Most were a result of poor management and neglect. Our dryer didn’t work at all and it took multiple calls / visits to the front desk to get it repaired. Most tv remotes were missing backs and the system was confusing to use. The Margaritaville drink maker was missing the actual blender so I had to throw out 3 bottles of pina colada mix I bought. The cover to the hot tub needs to be replaced as well. It looks horrible but the hot tub did work fine. Check out is at 10:00 am but the cleaning lady literally walked into the cottage at 9:30. It happened during our last stay as well. This is unacceptable and should not ever happen. The sad thing is that most of our issues could and should have been addressed earlier for very minor cost to vstays. I would like to say that the girl who came out to our cottage multiple times was excellent. She did a great job. There are 2 rental companies available at this resort. We will definitely be trying Rentyl on our next visit.
