  Simply put, the worst vacation stay ever! We've stayed at rentals and places all over the place and both Magaritaville and Vstays topped the list for bad experiences. Rental had a broken refrigerator, wall fixtures hanging off the walls, the jacuzzi wasn't working, a security team that had us park in an area that we were to later tagged to be towed from. Insanely poor service from the Vstays staff, the told us the unit next door was a rental that we could use the grill from, IT WAS A PRIVATE RESIDENCE that doesn't rent at all. We called in repairs on the jacuzzi 4 times because the water temperature was the same as the pool. They said the jacuzzi was working fine but the water only gets warm after dark?!?! Huh?!??! We knew the valves were set wrong from the start.
  
  The staff treats you like trash knowing they get 18% - 20% gratuity on every check. The waterpark had several rides down, very few floats, and no seating available at 11 am...
  
  Better off throwing $4,000 out the window than staying with Vstays ever again!

  When we arrived to our home, the child protection alarm couldn’t be turned off every time we opened the door. I am familiar with the alarms as I’ve stayed at the resort cottages 6 times prior. I know that you have to push the button before you open the door everytime so the alarm doesn’t sound. However, this alarm would not turn off no matter what. I called and the girl who came out said it’s how that house is set up and the alarm is going to sound every time we open the door. Now we have a 6 month old so you can imagine trying to get her to sleep with the alarm sounding every 5 minutes ( we had 15 guests). Then I noticed we had no margarita maker and all my other stays we had one so I called again. They brought one. Also noticed the pool was very dirty so we attempted to skim the debris but no skimmer was provided. We hand scooped everything we could out. We had no silverware in the drawers and hardly no utensils at all. Not one dish rag. ( also know this stuff is all provided in the others homes). The entire house had not been mopped in I don’t know how long. Our feet were completely black from walking in the house. Every single one of us. We wore our shoes the rest of our stay. All of these things we let go until we woke up in the middle of the night sweating as the air conditioning broke! We called in the morning. Was told someone would be out that day so I stayed at the cottage that day and canceled my plans. They came to fix it and after a few hours they left without letting me know the outcome. I called them and they said the manager would be coming by. She came by and told us it was up to the owner to replace it and it could be another day and we could move. She was pleasant and handed me the keys. I had no car so she said the shuttle could help us bring things to the new house. We had already spent 16 hours in the heat and now we had to pack up all the babies things and elderly mother and fridges

  The cottage was amazing! Other than not having a Keurig coffee maker, the kitchen was stocked nicely. The game room was amazing--excellent games. Big bonus for each bedroom having own bathroom & TV. Having your own pool & spa was great! Our location was perfect--the first cottage next to the Margaritaville pools(1 minute walk). Staff at the pool were excellent. I had to rate it a 4 3/4 because there were maintenance problems. My daughter and her husband were on the third floor balcony. One of the fan blades shot out of the fan and hit the wall. The frig ice maker was broken (water on floor). Toilet paper holder hanging off wall in 2nd floor master bedroom. Tile floors looked clean but our socks & feet were black--bring slippers. We would rent this unit again, we loved it!!!! Margaritaville rocks!

  This is our 3rd year renting this cottage. We love the location of layout and is great for our family. Cottage was ready for an early checkin which was unexpected and pleasing. Cottage was clean. A few issues that we encounter this year, refrigerator could use some attention. The drawers were hard to open and when they opened that shelve above came with it. Our biggest issue this year was insects - cockroaches to be exact. They would found in the 2 downstair bedrooms, kitchen and 1 upstairs bathroom. This is the first time that we have had this issue at this cottage and it was disappointing. We have raved about this cottage to our family and it was family that found the bugs.

  Music was playing. The game room was a huge hit. Having own pool and hot tub was great for evening swims and when they closed the main pool due to weather. A few things were missing like a big pot to cook spaghetti and a much needed broom. There are 2 refrigerators so plenty of cold space. You have to bring garbage bags, it can definitely use a new
  Garbage can one that holds the bag better. If you plan to cook bring dish soap dishwasher soap dish towels, sponges cleaning spray. Bring your own coffee and filters. Shampoo conditioner extra towels and blankets.
  Overall a great cottage and location. Would definitely stay again!

  I arrived on May 17th 2023 and stayed at the Resort side in the Jimmy Buffet Suite. Loved it and had a great time, KATIE GONZALEZ-VEGA the FRONT DESK SUPERVISOR is amazing and helped us with everything and made sure we had everything we needed. On May 19th we checked out of the resort and checked into a Cottage. We stayed here last year too and had no issues and a great time. I decided to book same house again this year. Everything was perfect until the last night there was a bad rain storm and the roof leaked from the 3rd floor into my bedroom on the 2nd floor and got my luggage and other items very wet and ruined most of our stuff. As soon as we noticed the leak we called vStays front desk and they sent someone over to fix it. Upon checkout i asked the front desk at vStays if there is anything they can do for us because of this. I was told the person in charge was not available and to email him. So I did and he was out of the office and i emailed Amy Young the Junior VP of Operations and she said "We will not be doing anything further, please proceed as you see fit." and while on the phone before email was sent she claims we damaged a pool stick so because of that they will do nothing for us and call it a wash. I said we did not damage any pool stick and that it was like that already. She also said "there was no report of that before you arrived so it must have been you". Because of this I will not book with them every again. They lost a lot of business from me and my family. We spent close to $20,000 in 2 years with them between, booking the house, food and drinks purchased , etc. I will also let my travel agent network know exactly what happened so they can tell their clients.

  I had always wanted to treat my two nephews and their families on a fun vacation! We live in Maine and coming to Florida mid winter would provide a wonderful break from the cold and snow. Plus the younger kids had never been to Florida or experienced The Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom or Universal Studios. While we had a great time at the parks- the vacation was truly made by our stay at 3102 Parrothead Drive! We had such a great time there!!! The house was beautiful and was everything it advertised! Everyone had their own space and plenty of family space too!! We loved it! We walked down everyday to Sunset avenue (The Promenade) and enjoyed the many restaurants,stores and antique car show on Saturday night. Thank you providing such a wonderful get a way!!

  Wonderful memories were made with my family. I want to thank the owners for helping us to make these memories by making your place available. Grandkids loved it!!! Stayed 7 days and wish it could have been longer. Only concern was kitchen could have been stocked a little better for a larger family. No large frying pans or larger pots. Also, the electrical outlets kept tripping every night, we had to call every morning for VStay to come and reset the breakers in the kitchen.

  All in all it was a great stay. I added an extra night to this reservation and paid the additional cost to arrive a day earlier. When we arrived for check in there was no record of the date change. After some time and research customer service could see that the additional payment was made BUT the new arrival date was not entered. This error resulted in checkin that lasted 30mins. Other issues of concern, when we arrived were very disappointed with a few things - Hot tub was a huge issue and required 5 separate calls to customer service to get it resolved. Same with the pool - we were told the pool heater was on and in fact was not. It was not clear when we made the reservation that there would only be 2 bath towels per bathroom, it is not nearly enough when you have 14 to 18 adults in the condo. No pool towels either which I know was noted in the contract BUT for the cost of this condo one would have thought they were be included.. Pool towels from the main resort pool are not permitted out of the resort pool area. Cooking utensils were of very poor quality and we had to purchase a few on our own. Issue with "bugs" but it is Florida and that was to be expected. The condition of the condo itself was amazing and we are planning on reserving it again for next year.

  We loved the location and size of our cottage. We were right next to the resort pool and the Bar and Grill. It was very convenient and the space was beautiful. Most of the cottage was clean but there were some areas like the bedframes and behind and underneath items that needed cleaning and hadn't been dusted or cleaned in a while. Also, the trash bin outside our cottage was not emptied before our arrival and when we called about it getting emptied they said someone comes and empties it every day, they must have missed yours. It was never emptied and over filled by our departure. There were also some small maintenance issues: a handrail on the stairs was loose/broken, several of the closet doors are not hung correctly and you can not easily open and close them, several of the bedroom doors are not hung properly and you have to pull/push really hard to open and close the door (especially the master bedroom). The pools needed chlorine (but staff came and resolved that) and the hot tub\spa did not work very well. The spa kept losing water and not filling back up, we called maintenance and they told us that is just how it works. It takes quite a while for the hot water to get hot throughout the entire house.
  But we loved the decor and the house and the sunsets by the pools and hut tub. The parking is limited in front of our cottage so it has a nice benefit of having 2 assigned parking spaces but every day at least one car was parked in our spots and we had to call to have them ticketed or removed. Also, the women at check in was friendly and helpful and made a great first impression for our trip! If some of the little maintenance and deep cleaning issues and the parking issues were resolved, this place would be perfect! For now I would say it's almost perfect and I would definitely stay there again. We enjoyed the resort pools & really enjoyed having the Chef Dinner at the cottage. I highly recommend adding the Chef Dinner to your stay.

  We had a great time staying in this cottage in Margaritaville! The house was clean, included the use of a Margaritaville blender, had basic supplies of towels, paper towels, toilet paper, and plates/dishes/bowls available. There was also basic toiletries in the all the bathrooms. The pool area was very clean and located so close to the resort we could hear all the music while relaxing in our pool. The pool and all the outdoor furniture were very clean and well cared for. The 3rd floor game room was awesome as was the 3rd floor balcony. We enjoyed sitting out there and watching the summer rain storms blow in.
  Only odd thing was the door knob was off of the master bedroom door on the inside and we couldn't close the door because we couldn't open it from the inside and on our last night rain leaked through the ceiling,into the lights and all the power for the bedroom and bathroom were out. We looked for the fuse panel but were unable to located it. This happened late at night, so we didn't call for assistance.

  The cottage we stayed in was beautiful and clean. It was the perfect spot next to the resort pools! We used the house pool and jacuzzi when we just wanted some private family time! The game room on the 3rd floor was definitely a plus! Unfortunately, the master bedroom had no electricity working in it from day 1. We noticed water coming through the ceiling light fixtures after a rain storm . We called right away but it was never fixed. That was the only downside otherwise we really enjoyed our stay. It’s our second stay and we will definitely return! I suggest you provide more garbage bags in the kitchen.

  Very High Overall Grades are indeed warranted. Excellent location to the Big Pool, Hotel Lobby, Sunset Walk and Resort Activities. A couple of hiccups of not having a broom which necessitated having to use a damp towel to help keep the kitchen floor properly swept and having to use a towel as an oven mitt, was not enough to lower our satisfaction. Would recommend having a sleeper sofa on the First Floor. The beds were great but too high for my 95 year old mother. Unbeknownst to me, the sleeper sofa was on the Third Floor which was not a safe climb for my mother. All that being said, I would definitely return.
